What this tool does

Records acoustic piano from the mic and visualizes sound in real time.

After you stop, it detects note/chord onsets, estimates tempo over time (BPM), and graphs loudness (dynamics) so you can see where you rush/drag or crescendo.

Methods: short-time Fourier transform with Hann window; spectral flux onset detection; IOI to BPM; RMS to dB (relative).

Tip: for best results, place the laptop ~30–50 cm above middle C, avoid clipping (lower input gain), and keep ambient noise low.
